Why Do I Cover MYself

Why Do I Cover MYself -

Why Do I Cover MYself

For me it is enough to cover myself because it is the Commandment of my Lord, ALLAH - The Most High, The Most Great. “Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!” (The Quran 7:54)

The Almighty GOD commands:

“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.” [The Quran, Surah Noor (24): Verse 31]

Wearing Hijab is the right of every woman irrespective of her Religion, It is totally my wish to wear it, and I don’t require anyone’s “advice” and they don’t have any right to stop me from covering myself.

In fact, when a Muslim woman covers herself then she is obeying her only Master – The God Almighty. And protect her from the punishment of the hell fire. A Muslima will never care to disobey any law which comes in between her and her Lord, the God Almighty who is more just and severe in punishment. And if He punishes her on the day of Judgement for not wearing veil, then who can save her from Him – The God Almighty Allah? And who can protect her from the evil gaze of men if she doesn’t cover herself?

And the men of “understanding” and very much “uplifting” women are displeased to see them secure behind the veil. They want every Tom, Dick and Harry to look upon them and snatch their security and privacy.

Click picture to enlarge It is not appropriate to ask a man (or Sarkozy) how he feels about hijab, neither it is appropriate to ask a non-hijabi woman how she feels about it. Rather, it should be asked to a hijabi woman, how good she feels to hide herself for pleasing Almighty? How secure she feel when she is in Hijab? How VIP treatment she gets when she is on the way… Ask these questions to a Muslima who observe hijab before making your own opinion of being “oppressed”, “degraded”, “jailed” and what not!!

Sarkozy, you are right. Hijab is indeed a sign of slavery!! Slavery not to any man, but slavery to her master – The God Almighty!! She surrenders only to the God Almighty and no one else. But you can't understand as you haven't seen any dignified woman in your family!!!

If a woman who wears Hijab is a “Slave”. Then, she is the only slave who gets VIP treatment. She is the only slave who gets her due rights. She is the only slave who study in normal colleges and work in normal companies. She is the only slave who debates on the shows and shatter the opponent. She is the only slave who can roam freely in the market, garden, malls, etc. She is the only slave who gets security. She is the only slave who is highly respected…. And the list goes on…

We are proud to be the Slaves of Our Creator, Our Lord, but we are not at all and can never be a slave of human and anything else except the Lord, Our GOD, ALLAH!

Last but not the least, Hijab generate respect for each other and help in creating peaceful society, which is the need of the hour. Hijab covers our body not our brain. It never abstain us to free and open thinking; it brings about peace and stability in the society.

I Challenge, if you are doing a right thing by forcing woman to uncover herself, then try and convince any Muslima who observes Hijab. It’s a life time Challenge!!!

I love to maintain my hijab and what about you???
